How is mineral salt water liquid used?
Some people dissolve our salt in water to drink. The instructions we give here are for powdered salt. For those looking for the liquid form, we also explain where that name appears.
When drinking it dissolved in water
Dilute 1 small teaspoon of 제주미네랄솔트 powdered salt in 500ml of water, the amount in a small bottle of drinking water. Its mineral balance gives it a mild taste for drinking.
For oral care, dilute 1 small teaspoon of powdered salt in 100ml of water, half a paper cup, and gargle. It has a non-irritating feel.
How is it used in cooking?
It can be used in everyday cooking, including soups, stews, stir-fries and grilled dishes. It reduces sodium and adds depth of flavor for a healthy taste. It can also be used for pickling and aging foods, including kimchi, pickled vegetables and other ingredients. Its even salinity keeps food crisp and fresh-tasting over time.
There are also beauty uses, such as salt face washing and natural scrubs. The clean salt's fine grains can be used for washing and scrub care. We developed our salt with various everyday uses in mind, beyond seasoning alone.
We also registered technology for making liquid salt
In October 2025, we registered a patent for a liquid salt production method, No. 10-2873690. The invention title on the patent certificate is ‘해수 또는 염지하수(용암해수)를 이용한 액상소금제조방법’, meaning a method for producing liquid salt using seawater or saline groundwater (lava seawater).
A patent is a right relating to a production method. It differs from certification guaranteeing the taste or quality of products made with that method.
