We do not collect names, contact details or similar personal information on this site

There is no sign-up, no enquiry form, and no field anywhere on this site that asks for a name or contact detail. As a result we hold no personal information collected from you here. If you need to reach us or place an order, please use the contact details below or the online store.

Access records and visit records kept automatically

Simply opening a web page leaves a record on the server: the IP address you connected from, the time, the address you opened, and the type of browser used. We use these records only to keep the site running and to investigate attacks or errors. We do not examine them to identify individuals, do not combine them with other data, and do not use them for advertising. Records are kept for at most 90 days and then deleted automatically. They are often removed sooner, when the storage limit is reached first. From 10 October 2026 we also keep visit records through TreeTalk (processed on our behalf by TreeRU (operator of the TreeTalk consultation system)) to understand how the site is used and to improve it: IP address, approximate region (province or metropolitan city) estimated from the IP address, a visitor identifier (a random number stored in browser storage), visit time, page URL and title, referring URL, browser and device information, time spent and screen viewing time, scroll depth, screen size, browser language setting, time zone, button and link clicks (type, displayed name and destination path of the element clicked), when the chat window was opened and closed, and whether typing was started (typed text is not recorded). These records contain no names or contact details and use no cookies. If you turn on “Do Not Track” or GPC in your browser, no visit record is kept. Visit records are automatically deleted one year after they are made.

Cookies and browser storage

This site uses no cookies for advertising or visitor analytics, and contains no ad-tracking code. The visit records described above use only a random number in browser storage, not cookies. If you dismiss the purchase notice at the bottom of the screen, we store a single marker in your browser so it does not reappear during that visit. That marker stays in your browser, never reaches our servers, and disappears when you close the tab.

On the broadcast pages in Salt Stories, pressing the video play button loads the video from YouTube’s reduced-cookie address (youtube-nocookie.com). The page does not connect to YouTube before you press it.

Purchases happen on the store site

No payment takes place on this site. Pressing a purchase button takes you to the online store where our products are listed, and from that point the store's own privacy policy applies. Order and payment details are collected and handled by that store; we see them through the store only to the extent needed to ship your order.

Sharing and outsourcing

Because we collect no names, contact details or similar information through this site, we transfer none to third parties. The processing of the visit records (usage analytics) described above is, however, entrusted to TreeRU (operator of the TreeTalk consultation system). TreeTalk visit records (IP address, device information, visit time, etc.) are processed by our processor TreeRU (operator of the TreeTalk consultation system) and deleted after one year. Details are in the TreeTalk processor notice (in Korean, https://treetalk.kr/privacy/processor). If we later add a feature that does collect information (an enquiry form, for example), we will state what we collect and why in this document before that feature opens.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a halt to the processing of your personal information. Since we hold none from this site, any such request will most likely concern an order placed on the store site. Either way, please tell the privacy officer named below and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may seek help from the Korea Internet & Security Agency's privacy report centre (privacy.kr, 118) or the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (kopico.go.kr, +82-1833-6972).
