On the back of salt packaging is a small table bringing together information from the product name to the consumer service phone number. Here is what each field contains.
There is a small table on the back of the salt packaging. It brings together the information identifying the product, from its name to the consumer service number. Here we explain what we display in each field.
The name and classification come first
The product name is 제주미네랄솔트 (Jeju Mineral Salt), and the food category is ‘other salt’. The product name identifies the item, while the food category classifies it. It is not a quality grade.
The product report number is 202006216891. This is the reference number for finding the same product in other documents.
Who made it, and where?
The manufacturer is our company, 제주미네랄솔트 (Jeju Mineral Salt), at 2706-32 Iljudong-ro, Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The net content is 200g, and the ingredient and content declaration is ‘제주용암해수 100%’ (100% Jeju lava seawater). The manufacturing date is displayed separately.
The packaging materials are PP for the outer packaging, paper and PE for the inner packaging, and PET for the container. The storage instructions and precautions say to avoid humid places and always keep the package sealed after opening.
Information for use in liquid form
The instructions describe diluting 1 small teaspoon of powdered salt in 500ml of water to drink.
We registered the technology for making liquid salt as a patent in October 2025. It is patent No. 10-2873690. The invention title on the certificate is ‘해수 또는 염지하수(용암해수)를 이용한 액상소금제조방법’, meaning a method for producing liquid salt using seawater or saline groundwater (lava seawater).
